This Privacy Policy explains how StudyRare LLC ("StudyRare," "we," "us") collects, uses, and shares information when you use our websites and Services. We aim to collect only what we need to run the Services.

Information we collect

  • Account information you provide, such as your name, email address, institution, and study preferences.
  • Purchase information processed by our payment provider. We receive confirmation of a payment and limited details (such as the last four digits of a card); we do not store full card numbers.
  • Usage information generated as you use the Services, such as pages viewed, questions attempted, notes you save, and progress through a course.
  • Communications you send us, such as support emails or feedback.

How we use information

  • To provide, maintain, and improve the Services.
  • To process purchases and grant the access you paid for.
  • To send transactional messages (receipts, account and session notifications) and, if you opt in, the newsletter.
  • To respond to your questions and provide support.
  • To protect the Services against fraud, abuse, and security risks.

Service providers we share with

We share information with vendors that help us run the Services, only as needed to perform their function:

  • Payment processors for purchases and payouts.
  • Cloud infrastructure providers for hosting, databases, and email delivery.
  • Productivity tools for email and, for bootcamp registrations, roster management.
  • Video conferencing and community platforms for live sessions and community access, where applicable to a product you purchased.

We do not sell your personal information. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights and the safety of our users.

We use cookies that are necessary to keep you signed in and to secure your session across StudyRare apps. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.

Data retention

We keep account and purchase records for as long as your account is active and as needed to meet legal, tax, and accounting obligations. You can request deletion of your account as described below; some records may be retained where the law requires.

Your choices

  • You can update your account information in your dashboard settings.
  • You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time.
  • You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by emailing us.

Children

The Services are intended for professionals and trainees and are not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above.
